Richard's fellow Yorkshireman Robert has bestowed upon him an epic remix of a track featuring David Bowie's pianist, Mike Garson, and David J (Bauhaus/Love & Rockets) on bass, from his album Opening Scene which reached #164 on the US NACC national college radio charts and earned a four star review in Shindig Magazine... "Opening Scene demonstrates a broodingly sinister, consistently unique sound that's ill-served by comparisons. Art-rock for lounge lizards? Inquire within."

Working under the name Rubberlips, Robert Burbidge became a hit on the dance music scene, working alongside Grammy-award winner Louie Vega, Utah Saints, Damo Suzuki (CAN), Groove Armada's Tom Finlay and Ashley Beedle, while performing at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Dublin Castle in London, Trades Club and Beatherder festival.

Robert has now moved on from his Rubberlips alias and launched a solo career as an independent composer, producer and music maker. As well as working on solo projects for a variety of highly-respected labels, he's also collaborated with a wide range of diverse names including Gregory Thomas (Funkadelic), Robin Lee (Faze Action) and Kevin G Davy (Cymande). And working alongside long-time collaborator Steve Gligorovic and singer/songwriter Winter, he's released several stunning singles with an upcoming album and range of merchandise to come in 2024.

His work has had repeated global airplay, including on the UK's BBC Radio 1, Soho Radio, on cult LA station KCRW and via the award-winning Lopsided World of L show.
