During lockdown he had the time to record his first solo album harking back to his roots fronting a post punk, indie rock band in London in the late 90s. He was moved to start writing his own songs again to express his discontent with world events over the past few years, encompassing rock, post punk, electronic and psychedelic influences. He currently has a monthly "Saturn Radio" show on Radio D59B Berlin exploring multiple genres of inspiration both old and new.

The album features bass guitar on four tracks by David J from Bauhaus / Love & Rockets who became a friend after hearing a track by Annabel (lee) on LA's great independent radio station KCRW. He was also lucky enough to get David Bowie's pianist Mike Garson to play on The Great Showing.
